Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package directions. Set aside. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, sauté onions, peppers, and mushrooms until soft and caramelized. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add cooked veggies back in and mix well.
  5. Transfer the beef and veggie mix to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle cheese evenly on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5-10 more minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes. Divide rice among 8 containers, then top with the cheesesteak bake. Store in the fridge.
